In Japan, it is believed that ancestral deities visit each family to bring happiness on New Year’s day. The catch is that they only visit when invited. The Kadomatsu (門松, "Gate, Pine") is the welcoming land mark to enter the home.
In celebration of the coming New Year, we invite you to try this delicious, Whiskey and rosemary balanced cocktail spiked with ginger and honeyed apples.
- 1 1/2 oz Whiskey
- A&M recommends trying Toki Japanese Whiskey
- 1/4 oz Lillet
- 1/4 oz Honey
- 1/2 oz Apple Cider
- 1/4 oz Lemon Juice
- Splash of Ginger Beer
- 2 Mists of Rosemary & Wild Honey Aromatics
- 1 Mist of Perfect Ginger Aromatics
Combine all ingredients except Ginger Beer in cocktail
mixing glass with ice.
Stir until chilled and strain into new glass over ice.
Finish with a splash of Ginger Beer
