Samhain Penicilin

Samhain (pronounced: Sow-win) is the ancient Celtic festival that celebrates of beginning of winter’s darkness on October 31st and the living mingle with ghosts, fairies and demons.

A riff on the hallowed Penicillin, this drink is a smoky, peaty mix of Scotch lifted with citrus, torched with ginger and cloaked in a wintery herbal mist. Let the spirits carry you away!

Ingredients

Directions

  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add blended Scotch, grapefruit juice and syrup.

  • Shake until well-chilled.

  • Strain into a rocks glass, preferably with a single large ice cube. 

  • Float the single-malt Scotch on top.

  • Add 3-5 Drops of Warm Ginger Elixir

  • Finish with 2 sprays of Rosemary & Wild Honey Aromatic Mist.
